Recurring theme...

I've been reading a lot of blogs over the last year and there's a noticeable theme in blogs of people who are into some sort of fitness activity - most hate fat people. Here's the ironic thing about what I've read... they also seem to have a strong dislike for fat people doing any sort of physical activity.

Fat people just can't win, it seems.

I'm in agreement that being overweight is not a good thing in any way however, not recognizing what it takes for someone to obviously change some very bad, ingrained habits is... well, just plain rude.

Have a good day everyone (including the chubby people!) :)

so of us skinny guys have trouble because we grew up getting teased mercilessly for being a twig...

sometimes much worse than the 'fat' folks who often got sympathy because "they can't help it" or were guys and it always seems acceptable for guys to be fat...

i don't think anyone should judge anyone by their weight fat or thin... but more what they do... and their actions and intentions...

but then...

putting that mantra of acceptance and respect into action can be more of a challenge for everyone...

fat folks need exercise to get thin, nothing wrong with that...

maybe i'm myopically blind or haven't been reading the same things out there as you have...

certainly i bust on the heavy jumbo over at TSP but they also call me BeanPole and i see them face to face a couple times a year or more... so we keep it real off line...

i hear it alot "those porkers from blahblah team" (woman's team with normal, not anorexic or petite racers) and that bugs the shit outa me...
sorry... didn't mean to add expletives to your family blog...

(gonna change the subject)

what's the situation on the new condo occupants? Nekkid Yoga again?

I hear ya and agree, being fat ain't good and no one should be given sympathy for the "they can't help it" bit... almost everyone can do something about the situation the key is, they have to want to.

Re: the condo... it's sittin' empty. I've seen a couple of people going through but no residents yet. There was one girl that had potential but, nothin' yet... with my luck I'll get some hairy dood that has cronic plumber butt... (sorry couldn't resist... nothin' against hairy people or plumbers)

Oh sure it's all hugs and tissues for fat people, but if you happen to have enough body hair to qualify as a body double for Robin Williams then the jabs are all good eh Suthers?

...and it's not just because I am hairy either that I getting defensive. I mean so what if when I peel of my t-shirt I look like I am wearing the top half a gorilla costume....so what!!

(jim starts crying and runs out of the room yelling...)

"Why couldn't I just be fat?"
